Evil henchmen are people, too.

To promote the digital release of John Wick: Chapter 2, I helped my friends at Haymaker write a laughably long, live-recorded memorial service for the 100+ goons who got killed in the movie. Hosted by the one and only Peter Stormare (in character as Abram Tarasov) on Facebook Live, the service offered a little more backstory for the countless characters who got a mournfully minimal amount of screen time.

Whether it was their tap-dancing talent or their unquenchable passion for yogurt, the henchmen will forever live on in the hearts of the criminal underworld. #RIP
